Set during the Joseon Dynasty, two childhood friends—one a noble master, the other his loyal servant—are torn apart by the ravages of war. Once inseparable, they now find themselves on opposing sides of a bitter conflict. The former master returns as a decorated warrior for the king, while the servant, hardened by the struggle, emerges as a leader of the rebellion. As old bonds clash with newfound loyalties, the friends must confront each other as adversaries in a battle that tests their ideals and past loyalties.
