The golden age of practical effects and daredevil filmmaking is over. Duke Ramsey, a name once synonymous with cinematic chaos, is now a washed-up stunt director, struggling to find relevance in an industry dominated by safe CGI and green screens. Haunted by the ghosts of his past glories and a tragic on-set accident that shattered his reputation, Duke spends his days coordinating lackluster falls for low-budget commercials. His real fall, however, was from grace, a descent that cost him his family and left him utterly alone.
