Following her father’s tragic suicide, which leaves overwhelming debt, 12-year-old Seon Yu (Seo-Yun Cho) and her mother seek a new beginning. Uprooted and immersed in depression, Seon Yu transfers to a new school, where she struggles silently with her pain. Her life takes an unexpected turn when the class prankster, Jeong Guk (Ro-Woon Choi), begins to pay her unusual attention. The central, heartbreaking question of the drama becomes whether his persistent, if awkward, efforts can reach her in the depths of her sorrow and offer genuine hope.
